Boilermakers are involved in both the assembly and construction phases of boiler creation. They work in a variety of environments, including indoor workshops and factories, as well as outdoor construction sites.

Skills and Attributes for a Successful Boilermaker

1. Physical Strength and Dexterity: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, manoeuvring, and assembling heavy components with coordination and manual dexterity.

2. Technical Proficiency: Skills in welding and working with a range of hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and fabrication machinery.

3. Technical Drawings Interpretation: Capability to accurately interpret and create technical and fabrication layout drawings to guide the construction and assembly of boilers.

4. Attention to Detail: Precision in all tasks to ensure the correct assembly and functioning of boiler components.

5. Safety Awareness: Vigilance in identifying potential hazards and taking appropriate measures to prevent incidents and accidents.
